Tante Steffi's Chicken or Chops

This is my Tante Steffi's recipe.
You can make it with boneless chicken breasts
or boneless pork chops.

This turns out best if the meat is not too thick.
It is best to prepare thick chops by butterflying them,
and to cut off the thickest part of the chicken breast.

12 prepared pieces of meat
milk, flour, egg and grated parmesan cheese
for coating the meat
salt and pepper to season.
milk, cream or other liquid

Season the meat and dip it in milk, flour,
beaten eggs and grated parmesan cheese
Prepare the baking pan by spraying it with Pam.
Put in the meat leaving a little bit of space
between the pieces. Leave the pan in the refrigerator
for about 1/2 hour. It helps the coating adhere better.

Pour in the liquid. It should cover the meat about half way. See picture.
Cover the pan with aluminum foil. Bake in a 350 oven for 45 minutes to 1 hour.
When it looks like the picture take off the foil and bake about 15 minutes longer
- until browned.

This does not make any gravy as the liquid is absorbed into the meat.

Guten Appetit!
