Hi Everyone:

We had such a great time at the Branson Reunion.
Congratulations to the all of the families who had a part in making the reunion
a great success. To those who couldn't make it this year, you don't know how much
fun you missed!!

As soon as one reunion comes to an end, plans for the next one begin.
We would love to welcome all "B" Battery families to the 2004 Reunion
in our great state of Michigan . . . winner of the Stanley Cup Championship in 2002
(hockey for those who don't follow the sport).

Ed and I have volunteered to host the next reunion in Frankenmuth, MI,
a small German town about 70 miles north of our home.
Mick and JoAnne Yule have graciously agreed to assist us in the planning
of what we hope to be a very fun experience for all.

Frankenmuth was chosen by us because the entire town has an authentic
Bavarian style and theme.

There are over 100 quaint village gift shops to browse through,
good restaurants, a boat ride, horse-drawn carriage rides, churches,
a winery, a brewery, and much more.

Frankenmuth is also the home of Bronner's Christmas Wonderland,
the world's largest Christmas store.

It is a Christmas lovers' dream with a European marketplace atmosphere
enticing over 2 million visitors each year. There are over 50,000 trims and gifts
in this dazzling store that is the size of 1-1/2 football fields.
You will be glad that you came to the reunion just to see this amazing store.

Frankenmuth also has an 18-hole championship golf course, an RV park,
and a nearby outlet mall. Also, for those who are so inclined,
there is a large casino within a one-hour drive.

We are contemplating a one-day side trip to Mackinac Island if we have
enough people interested. The Yule's are checking into the cost and availability
of chartering a bus for this trip.

We recently spent a day with Mick & JoAnne Yule in Frankenmuth to begin looking
at hotels and/or motels to host all the "B" Battery families in 2004.
I'm sure that it will take many more trips to decide on all of the accomodations
and plan for the banquet; however, we'll have lots of fun in the process.
So, start saving your money and dreaming of the next time we can all be together again.
One last thought is to save any of your "double or extra" photographs
from the Branson or any of the past reunions. Please set them aside and
bring them to the 2004 reunion. We will put all of the "extras" in a box
for everyone to browse through and take those that have a special meaning to them.

We will be sure to keep you updated as our plans progress during the next two years.

Best Wishes,
Barb & Ed Sosnowski
